Just Like We Remember, a Glass Vision Media project from our home on Vancouver Island, gives them the camcorder and turns their footage into a film worth rewatching.

Save The Date

Open The Box, Start The Memories.

A few days before you say “I do,” a box lands at your door.

Inside is a camcorder that we’ve already tested, charged, and packed so it’s ready to film. Take it out, try a few clips, and hand it to your people when the weekend starts. We’ll also include a charger in your box in case it’s needed throughout the weekend.

We aim to deliver it 3-5 days before the Wedding. That leaves breathing room if shipping runs behind, and a chance to get comfortable with it first. The camcorder is easy to use, but we’d still encourage a quick practice run once it arrives. Record a few seconds, play it back, and get a feel for the buttons. That way you and your guests are comfortable long before the weekend begins. We also provide detailed instructions for peace of mind.

Moments Worth Catching
A timeline of things to look out for, from the hallway chaos before the ceremony and your vows to the toasts, the dance floor, and the sleepy goodbyes on Sunday.

Cinematic Nudges
A few easy tricks that make home-movie footage feel like a film. Watch the bride walk slowly up to a window as the light spills across her dress. Get in close on hands and laughter, film into the golden-hour light, or follow someone as they walk away down a hallway.

Use as much or as little as you like. The best clips are often the ones nobody planned.

It’s Go Time

The weekend you’ve been planning is finally here. The camcorder has been tested, your people know what to look for, and all that’s left is to hand it off and let the memories pile up.

There’s plenty of room on the memory card for the whole weekend, about 8 hours of footage, so nobody needs to worry about running out of space or deleting anything. If something feels off or a question comes up mid-celebration, we’ll help via call or text as quickly as we can.

Time To Send It Home

The weekend is over, and somewhere inside this little camcorder are moments you haven’t seen yet. We’re excited to find them.

Place the camcorder and everything that came with it back in its box, then seal it up. A prepaid label is already included, so just stick it on the outside and drop the box off.

We’re eager to get started on it, and we can’t wait to show you what your people caught.

When your camcorder lands back with us, we press play on everything your people filmed. First, we watch it all and sort it into clean, organized clips.

Then we start shaping the film. We choose the moments that matter, set them to music, and cut them together into a nostalgic home movie.

The Double Tape

Because the bride and groom rarely get ready in the same place.

While one of you is having hair and makeup done in a hotel suite, the other is tying a tie across town, and no single camera can be in both places. Two camcorders can. Give one to the bridesmaids and one to the groomsmen, and both sides of the morning get filmed, with all the nerves, jokes, and quiet moments.

Book Your Date

Everything You’re Wondering

  • As early as you can. Dates fill up, especially in peak Wedding season. We recommend booking at least 4-6 months ahead, though we’ll do our best to fit in shorter-notice weddings if we have kits available. [Rush fees may apply.]

  • It arrives about 3-4 days before your Wedding, charged, tested, and ready to film. That leaves time for a practice clip and a cushion in case the mail runs late.

  • Absolutely. We chose and set up the camcorder to be simple, and it comes with a printed guide as well as sticky notes directly on the camera. If your guests can point and press record, they’re set.

  • No worries. Email us at bookingsglassvision@gmail.com and we’ll send you a new one by email.

  • Plans shift, and we get it. Let us know as soon as you can. If we have a camcorder available for your new date, we’ll move your booking at no cost. Details are in your booking Contract.

  • Contact us at bookingsglassvision@gmail.com right away. We’ll troubleshoot with you, and if the camcorder needs replacing, we’ll [send a replacement / explain the next step] as quickly as we can. This is why we recommend opening the box and doing a test clip as soon as it arrives.

  • Once the camcorder is back with us, we organize your raw footage. Your finished home movie follows about 4-6 weeks after that. We’ll keep you updated along the way.

  • Yes. If you want more angles for a bigger Wedding or separate getting-ready spots, we can add a second camcorder. We can also create extra edits, such as a parents’ version or a longer cut. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll put together a custom quote.

  • Your booking contract explains exactly what’s covered if the camcorder is lost or damaged, so there are no surprises. If anything happens during your weekend, message us at bookingsglassvision@gmail.com as soon as you can, and we’ll help you figure out the next step.

    For the best chance of keeping your footage safe, we suggest keeping the camcorder with the wedding party or a trusted guest, and not leaving it unattended.
